Paying with BCS Community CU's VISA Check Card is easy!
For most transactions with your debit card, you'll just need to present your card and sign the receipt.
No check writing means no need to carry a bulky checkbook. No need to show multiple forms of identification. Record keeping is easier. When you make a purchase or ATM transaction with you BCS Visa Debit card you'll receive a receipt. All the details will be listed on your monthly statement.
The VISA symbol means you get all of the advantages of a credit card: convenience, speed, and acceptance at more than 12 million merchants worldwide, and a detailed monthly statement. But with your BCS Community CU's Debit card, there's no debt build up or interest charges.
When paying with your Instant Cash & Check card at grocers, gas stations, and convenience stores, simply follow these steps:
- Look for the VISA sign. Any merchant displaying the VISA logo will accept your card as a way to pay.
- Ask to pay with VISA and present your card
- If you're using an electronic terminal at the check out counter and are prompted to choose a payment method, push the "CREDIT" button--NOT the "DEBIT" or "ATM" button.
- Sign your sales receipt. The transaction amount will be deducted from your checking account.
