Wire Transfer

BCS Community Credit Union is part of the Federal Reserve System and can process domestic and international wire transfer services.

Please refer to our fee schedule to determine the applicable fees for these services.

Domestic Wire Transfers (outgoing)

Wire requests received by 1:00 p.m. will be processed on the same business day. Requests received after the cut-off time will be processed on the next business day. We can accept wire transfer requests by phone, fax, and in person. However, we can not process your request until the information you provide has been verified.

Be sure to have the following information available before calling:

• Receiving Credit Union or Bank name.
• Receiving Credit Union or Bank address and phone number.
• Receiving Credit Union or Bank ABA Number (Routing and Transit Number).
• Beneficiary full name.
• Beneficiary account number.
• Beneficiary address and phone number.

International Wire Transfers
Foreign wire transfers are processed through SUNCORP, our corporate credit union. The deadline for international wire transfers is 11:00 a.m.The following information is required for international wire transfers:

• Credit Union or Bank SWIFT code.
• Whether the funds are to be deposited in local currency or US Dollars.
• Bank short name.
• Receiving Credit Union or Bank name.
• Receiving Credit Union or Bank address and phone number.
• Beneficiary full name.
• Beneficiary account number.
• Beneficiary address and phone number.

Important Note: Financial institutions in another countris may not follow the same procedures as US banks, and can legally hold money transfers for varying reasons and length of time.

Incoming Wire Transfers
To receive wire transfer on your BCS Community Credit Union Checking or Savings account, you need to follow the following instructions:

Western Union Transfer

Need to send cash fast? Western Union is a reliable, easy and fast way to send money. Most of the times, funds are available immediately after the transfer is executed by one of our Member Services Representative and can be picked up at any of the 170,000+ western Union Agent locations.

The following information is required to send funds via Western Union:

• Beneficiary's full legal name.
• City and Name where the funds will be picked up.
